Job Description

Position Description: ·         The Project Supervisor is responsible for carrying out all the activities in the project site as directed by the Women Empowerment and Regional Manager. The Project Supervisor reports and makes regular technical and market strategy support to the WE & RM to ensure the effectiveness of operational plan. Responsibilities: Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:   Work directly with the field staff- Central Regional Office in project implementation plans to ensure the effectiveness; Supervise and lead all the activities in Women's Producer Association (PA) and develop a structure for members in grouping & working together at district and community level; Make sure that various sorts of reports are timely prepared and submitted; Plan and implement project activities in Women's PA under Women Empowerment Manager/ Regional Manager supervision; Prepare report on expenses monitoring of the Women's PA;  Establish working relations and coordination and cooperation mechanism with communities other organizations and authorities at sub office level as well as with stakeholders.   Key relations Contribute to all new initiatives and data collection for PA and gathering relevant data and information for marketing purposes; Ensures coordination of project activities in Women's PA with field staff in CRO and  WE team in MO; Collect monthly report from management committee of Women's PA and submit it to Regional Manager and Women Empowerment Manager; Establish and Maintain effective working relationship with community leaders, Community Development Councils (CDCs) partners, relevant line ministries directorates and other agencies.   Key result expected Project Implementation: Prepare project implementation plans at field level; Ensure that monthly activity and progress reports are timely and accurately prepared and submitted to higher management; Make sure that expenses are properly recorded tallied with allocated budgets and discrepancies are corrected; Make sure that prompt and accurate response is provided to ad-hoc queries put by program/project higher management mission leadership etc; Attend monthly based meeting of management committee and assist in report writing; and Supervise and monitors the implementation of training program by project Trainers.   Provide inputs to new initiatives: Observation of all project activities at PA and office level draws lessons learned and shares with the Program field office and the Women Empowerment Manager. Coordination and Market linkage for women's products: Attend coordination meetings with other relevant organizations for market linkage purposes of Women's PA; Establish working relations and coordination /cooperation mechanism with communities CDCs, DoWA, Dolsa and  other organizations stakeholders, counterparts and authorities at sub/site office level; Make sure that proper protocols are in place with the provincial authorities; Make sure that relevant reports and information are timely and accurately provided to the provincial authorities; Occasionally visits other organizations’ offices in order to establish and maintain good relations and support Women's PA.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent in relevant fields is required.

Other qualifications’ an advantage:
The incumbent should be well experienced in problem analysis, project supervision/management, implementation & partnership, team building and having a good understanding of the IDPs & Returnees Livelihood Context.
excellent communication leadership and team building skills, can manage a group of producer women consisting of 40-80 women;
Well proven organizational & institution building skills, detail oriented, systematic and facilitation/training skills;
Proven Skills in Orientation and Capacity Building of grass-root level workers and producer association members.
Hands on experience in reporting and documentation for the means of verification for the implementation of a project.
Event Management and Market linkage Skills
Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English Dari and Pashto is a requirement
