The EMJM PHID is a collaborative initiative involving the Universidad de Oviedo (Spain), the Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), and the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). Benefits and Financial Aids

Erasmus Mundus Scholarships are available to top-ranked students based on selection criteria approved by EACEA.

Categories:

  • Partner Country Students: Students from Erasmus+ Partner Countries who have not resided or spent over 12 months in Programme Countries in the past five years.
  • Programme Country Students: From Erasmus+ Programme Countries.

Benefits:

  • Monthly stipend: €1,400 per month for up to 24 months.
  • Travel and Installation Contributions: These are verified through a residence or work/study certificate.
  • Mobility requirements: Two physical mobility periods of 30 ECTS each, including one in a Programme Country
  • Internships: Opportunities with partner organizations for practical experience and research

Scholarship Application:

  • Indicate interest in the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in the online application.
  • Applicants can apply to a maximum of three Erasmus Mundus Programs per cycle.
  • Self-financing students are subject to the same academic conditions as scholarship students.

Tuition Fees

The program fees for self-finance students are as follows:

  • European Graduate Students: €2,250 per semester, €9,000 for the full program.
  • Third-Country Graduate Students: €4,500 per semester, €18,000 for the full program.

Payment Schedule:

  • 50% at enrolment
  • 50% by December 31

Note: Fees are set by university regulations and partly financed by national taxes. Scholarships and waivers may be available, and fees may be revised for future editions. Self-financing students can opt for Erasmus Mundus Insurance at their own cost.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Application is open to all nationalities
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Health, Management, Administration, Law, Social or Technical Sciences, or related fields
  • English Proficiency: IELTS score of 6.5 overall with 6.5 in writing, or TOEFL IBT score of 79 with at least 20 in writing
  • Additional Requirements for University of Nicosia: Basic training in public health, epidemiological methods, and statistics
