Opportunity Description
In partnership with Arizona State University, the Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) provides free online English courses for Afghan women and girls.
You can participate in these online courses if you want to learn or improve your English language proficiency. These courses are at different levels, from beginner to advanced. After completing a placement test, you will be placed on your level and will be able to continue virtually.
About the courses
The CW4WAfghan has arranged online Academic English courses with the help of Arizona State University for over 550 Afghanistan women and girls. This courses help Afghan girls and women learn the English language on a self-paced manner. The English language courses include:
- Level 1 to 4: series of courses for daily conversation such as reading, writing, speaking, and grammar
- Level 5 to 8: courses for critical thinking and academic research writing. Additionally, they will learn how to work in a professional business environment where their primary language is English.
