Eligibility Criteria

You must meet these requirements to apply for the Wilson Center’s Fall Social Media Internship:

  • You must have enrolled in a degree program, recently graduated (within the last year), or accepted to enter a degree program within the next year
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in social media/marketing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of the Wilson Center’s work and mission
  • Ability to work and communicate in a nonpartisan environment
  • In-depth working knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Basic understanding of social media management tools (Photoshop, Canva, Buffer)
  • Experience with content creation, including graphic design and short-form video production

The strongest Applicants will:

  • Have experience with video editing programs like Adobe Premier or CapCut
  • Be skilled in social media analytics
  • Demonstrate expertise in a nonpartisan environment
