Eligibility Criteria
You must meet these requirements to apply for the Wilson Center’s Fall Social Media Internship:
- You must have enrolled in a degree program, recently graduated (within the last year), or accepted to enter a degree program within the next year
- Demonstrated interest or experience in social media/marketing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of the Wilson Center’s work and mission
- Ability to work and communicate in a nonpartisan environment
- In-depth working knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Basic understanding of social media management tools (Photoshop, Canva, Buffer)
- Experience with content creation, including graphic design and short-form video production
The strongest Applicants will:
- Have experience with video editing programs like Adobe Premier or CapCut
- Be skilled in social media analytics
- Demonstrate expertise in a nonpartisan environment
