Eligibility Criteria
- Registration is open to companies, organizations, and individuals from any UN or UNESCO member state.
- A WSA National Expert must nominate projects.
- Solutions must be digital content applications with a significant social impact.
- Solutions must be fully operational and launched.
- Most team members for the Young Innovators Award must be under 26 years old (born on or after January 1, 1998).

Selection Process
Below is the selection process:
- National Pre-Selection: Conducted by WSA National Experts through national contests or expert panel selection
- Online Jury: Evaluation of nominated projects between October 2024 and January 2025.
- Grand Jury Meeting: Final selection process in January/February 2025.
- Winners Announcement: Winners announcement during the WSA Global Congress and Winners Ceremony in April 2025.
How to Apply?
- Identify National Expert: Each country has a WSA National Expert responsible for local pre-selection.
- Local Pre-Selection: National Experts conduct local contests or expert panel selections.
- Nomination: Your WSA National Expert must nominate you as the best national digital application in one of the eight
- Eligible Submissions: Digital content with a clear impact, including apps, webpages, wearables applications, kiosk installations, mobile and online games, SMS-based products, and interactive productions.
- No Platform Limitation: Submissions can use any platform or channel.
- Contact National Expert: If interested in nomination, contact your WSA National Expert in one of the 182 UN member countries.
- Participate in the Global Congress: Attend the WSA Global Congress and Winners Ceremony in Chile if selected.
