Applicants for the Global Business School Network GBSN Scholarship for students from developing countries are welcome to apply. Hanken School of Economics is offering two premium scholarships for Hanken’s 2-year Master’s Degree program in 2024 to students currently studying at or alumni of GBSN member schools from developing countries.

Global Business School Network (GBSN) fosters cross-border networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within the network membership and with the broader business education and development communities, with a growing network of over 70 renowned business schools on six continents.

Eligible Countries: Afghanistan, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Pakistan, South Africa, Tunisia, and Turkey

Benefits of GBSN Scholarship for Students of Developing Countries:
  • Full tuition fee for study duration (about 12,500 EUR per year)
  • 8,000 EUR for living expenses per year
Master’s Programmes at Hanken:

Applicants can apply for one of the following master’s degree programs:

  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Governance and Commercial Law
  • Humanitarian Logistics
  • International Strategy and Sustainability
  • Intellectual Property Law
  • Marketing
  • Marketing and Management (Vaasa)
Eligibility Criteria:
  • By January 3, 2024, the candidate must be a student or alumni with a university degree from a GBSN member school to be considered for the Premium Scholarship.
Admission Criteria for Master’s Degree at Hanken School of Economics:
  • Applicant must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university or a university of applied sciences.
  • Be proficient in the English language (TOEFL: 92, IELTS: 6.5 or PTE Academic: 62,
  • Cambridge C1 Advanced: Grade C)
  • Applicants must have taken the GMAT or GRE test
  • The minimum required test scores for GMAT/GRE differ based on a degree obtained in an EU/EEA country or outside.
  • Proof of at least 30 ECTS in the relevant subject to their study program.

  • GMAT or GRE test score (if available)

  • Any other relevant documents
